SUB PLANS: Thur-Fri, Dec. 12-13, 2024

Please make sure to complete steps 1-4 with all classes. If additional activities are needed then scroll all the way to the bottom to find STAFF WARS for all 4th and 5th grade classes.

1. WARM-UP FOR ALL CLASSES:

Have students stand on a dot of their choice.
Begin video when everyone is ready.
Return to seat after video.

Click on the picture below. The picture will take you to a google slide.
Click on the slideshow button. There are 2 slides. Select students to come to the board to pick a box they would like to learn about. Make sure to complete all of the boxes.
After completing the Exploring the Nutcracker Set 1 and Set 2 move on to the quiz questions on the following slides. Go through each quiz question together in class or selecting students to answer.

4. FOUR CORNERS GAME ALL CLASSES:

Have students watch the beginning of the video.
Have students select a corner to go to.
If the corner you selected is called then you are out and have to return to your seat as the game continues until the last round.

Dear Parents,
Let’s get into the Holiday Spirit with music at this year’s Holiday Concert.
Congratulations, your child has been selected to perform at this year’s Holiday Concert on WED, December 21st @ 6:30 PM in our school’s cafetorium. Your child will need to wear a festive holiday outfit of their choice for the show. Your child will also need to bring his recorder to the event.

Students will need to be dropped off at the Art Room at 6: 00 PM, dressed and ready to perform. Tickets for the event will be sold at the door for $7.00 starting at 5:30 PM. Bring your family and friends to celebrate.

Please confirm that you’ve received this information and let me know below if your child will be participating by filling out and submitting the information in the box below.

Click on the STAFF WARS button below and have them line up in a single file line to play the game. If for any reason the game doesn't work from this display search the download folder on the promethium board it should be there.
